Stitch & Cluck

 

Tia loved fashion and design. She started her love by creating and hand stitching her own doll clothes out of old dresses, shirts, and even socks. Once her mom walked in on Tia’s messy room with a bunch of cut up clothes on the floor, she was flabbergasted. Eventually Kelly got out an inherited classic 1950s singer sewing machine for Tia to learn sewing on a machine. Tia had a few lessons along the way but she is mostly self taught. 

 

Tia also developed a love for chickens when the nation was in the midst of Covid because her mom ordered rare heritage breeds of hens. She later on has studied how chicken genetics work, knows what crosses of breeds to produce, and knows what chickens would be best for you. Tia hatches chicks every spring to sell to the public.
