Dry Mature Hair Shampoo: I formulated this shampoo for my hair actually. I have fine thin hair that spends the majority of its time (with me, thank God) outdoors in the elements. My hair was getting thinner and falling out and I was seeing a bald spot on the back of my head. Most days I couldn’t run a brush through my hair-it was so dry and snaggled. First thing I did for my hair health was to quit dying it. That helped a bunch. Then I found a high quality shampoo without all the chemicals, that helped even more but my hair was still dry even though it was getting thicker. Then, I started making shampoo bars. Bingo! I kept tweaking my formula until I came up with this one! It’s quickly climbed its way up the charts to being one of my top sellers and my hair is the thickest and healthiest its been since I was a kid!
Kokum Butter is in this shampoo which is an excellent emollient for scalp and hair products. The high levels of anti-oxidants along with emollient properties are supposed to naturally smooth damaged locks and help heal the skin. The Vitamin E component of Kokum should work to boost natural hair growth. Neem Powder is supposed to cleanse hair scalp, help clear dandruff, condition hair, strengthen hair follicles while adding volume and shine. Shikakai powder is supposed to promote hair development, control hair fallout, battles dandruff, while adding bounce and sheen to lifeless hair. Nettle Powder is supposed to improve circulation to the scalp and promote hair growth. Rosemary may promote hair growth. Peppermint may also promote hair growth. Comfrey Extract is thought to moisturize, strengthen, detangle, reduce breakage, and add shine to hair. Geranium Essential Oil is thought to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth. Cedarwood Essential Oil is thought to slow hair loss and promote new, healthier growth. Hydrolyzed protein is thought to strengthen hair strands lowering the risk of breakage.

Tia’s Shampoo: Tia has youth on her side with natural oils and thick long hair. Until I developed this shampoo, she had a hard time rinsing out shampoos and her hair would get so gunked up, she’d have to wash with baking soda at least once a month (harsh!). She is loving this shampoo and her hair is healthy and shiny!

Wet hair thoroughly. Either rub shampoo bar on head to create lather or rub between hands to create lather. Massage lather into hair and rinse hair thoroughly.
