Kelly grew up in Montana with every spare moment spent on a horse. She ate, breathed, slept, and dreamed of horses.  Her dad would take her to the races and she loved the speed horses but rode the cheapest horses money could buy. In high school she got a job with a neighboring outfit riding race horses.  She went to college in Bozeman,  MT and earned a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology.  While in college,  she also graduated from the Montana State Horseshoeing School, plus got her first registered quarter horse.

The years rolled by and she still ate, breathed, slept,  and dreamed of horses.  She met a man that did the same and they started building a horse program. Flash forward to today and Kelly stands two registered AQHA stallions, a jack, and has several broodmares. She raises several foals a year and makes a living on a horse (or mule).  She is a range rider for a cattle association and does contract packing into the wilderness and also works for various outfitters at different times of the year guiding, packing and cooking. 

On the side, she started making soap and lotions in 2009. She needed a product that could withstand the harsh realities of the weather she worked in: hours in the saddle from 100° to below zero temps, hands, face, and hair in harsh weather, feet in wool socks for days on end, washing in the back country with limited water.  She spent numerous hours studying all the aspects of the oils, essential oils, butters, fats and additives associated with quality soaps, lotions, lip balms, deodorants, anything associated with the skin plus other.  She has developed a line of products that nourish and complement your skin, hair,  and nose. These products are  for the western way of life, delicate but cowgirl tough!
